Our journey with the sea began in the 1950s in Novigrad, on the beautiful Istrian coast of Croatia.

It all started with my grandfather Josip, a skilled ship mechanic and fisherman whose passion for the sea was passed down through generations. My father Željko continued this tradition as a ship’s Chief Engineer Officer, deepening our family’s knowledge and respect for the sea.

Today, Marea is a proud family-owned business based in Novigrad, combining decades of maritime experience with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences along the Istrian coast.
